Transparent Outage Communication
Branded status pages for Internet Service Providers to automate incident updates and build customer trust.

The Challenge
Without centralized communication tools and timely updates, Internet Service Providers struggle to keep their end-users informed and maintain their reputation during critical outages.
Internet Service providers, including local broadband, fiber, and fixed wireless operators, frequently face disruptions due to fiber cuts, equipment failures, and power outages. When incidents occur, manual notification processes delay communication, leaving customers confused and support lines overwhelmed.

Connected Hubs Use Case: Geographically Targeted Incident Communication
Incident on individual service
Step 1
Company X, a regional internet service provider, operates networks in three service regions: Northern Region, Central Region, and Southern Region.
Step 2
A fiber cut impacts service only in the Central Region. Using Connected Hubs, Company X updates only the Central Region status page. Customers in the Northern Region and the Southern Region see no change.
Step 3
Once the issue is resolved, the incident is closed in StatusHub. The Central Region hub shows all systems operational again, without affecting the status of the other regions.
Incident on a shared service
Step 1
Company X relies on a upstream provider for connectivity across all three service regions: Northern Region, Central Region, and Southern Region.
Step 2
An outage at the upstream provider impacts internet access across all regions. A single incident is created in StatusHub, which updates all three hubs simultaneously. All status pages reflect the issue in real time.
Step 3
Once resolved, the incident is closed in the StatusHub Control Panel. All regional status pages instantly update to show systems operational, ensuring consistent communication.
